सागराच्या गर्भात अनेक रत्न राशी आहेत आणि दृष्टीआडच्या सृष्टीतही वैराण वार्यावर उधळणारी अनेक फुलं आहेत… देवाने माणूस घडवला… सर्वांना सर्वाना सर्व काही भरभरून दिलं… पण काही निरागस मुलं मतिमंद म्हणून जन्माला आली… श्री चैतन्य शिक्षण प्रसारक मंडळ संचलित, वारणा चैतन्य मतिमंद मुलांची शाळा, वारणानगर ता. पन्हाळा, जि. कोल्हापूर, आदरणीय शोभाताई कोरे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली कार्यरत आहे. मतिमंद मुलांच्या मानसिक, सामाजिक, शैक्षणिक प्रगतीसाठी या मुला-मुलींमध्ये वैयक्तिक, कलात्मक आणि सामुहिक उपक्रम रुजवत आहे. त्यांची शारीरिक वाढ, निर्भयता आणि शिक्षण यामधून त्यांना सामान्य जीवनशैलीचे चैतन्य देत आहे.

Shree Chaitanya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal has taken up this social issue and undertaken programme to enhance the physical, mental and psychological abilities of mentally challenged children and ingraining the personal, artistic, communal developmental programs for growth, security and education through Warana Chaitanya School for Mentally Challanged Children at Warananagar, Tal. Panhala, District Kolhapur of Western Maharashtra, India, which imparts the spirit of normal life style to them.

Aims and objectives of the institutions –
- Educational social economic and vocational rehabilitation of handicapped children in warananagar area of Kolhapur district.
